Contraindications for injection dermal fillers Juvederm

What is included in the product?

Juvederm products from Allergan company, have become the leader in dermal fillers these days. Fillers based on synthesized hyaluronic acid of non-native origin, which are made on a bacterial basis, are fully compatible with the patient’s body. Juvederm gel meets global product quality standards and was approved by the FDA in 2011. Optimal gel composition provides activation of natural skin rejuvenation processes, homogeneity and uniform distribution of gel in skin tissues, painless procedures as the product include lidocaine and maximum quality and long-lasting result. Hyaluronic acid can bind and hold water for a long time at the injection site. The hyaluronic acid gel is introduced into the base of each wrinkle with a syringe, thus creating a depot of hyaluronic acid. Such a depot, on the one hand, acts as a lining material that smoothes wrinkles, and on the other hand, there is an intense moisturizing of the skin and improvement of its appearance.

What is a special filler?

The Euviderm filler contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid. The preparations are sterile and dense gels, which are available in tightly packed syringes. The gel contained in the syringe is saturated with moisture, so after injection, it is better absorbed and absorbed by skin tissues. Also, the gel has a cumulative effect – the result of the procedure is noticeable through the day when the slight redness and swelling disappear. Most Juvederm fillers can be combined with other drugs. You do not have to wait for the resorption of the filler you entered earlier to correct with a new dermal filler. With Juvederm, you can perform contour and three-dimensional modeling of specific areas – perform non-surgical rhinoplasty, enlarge cheekbones or cheeks, and correct the shape of the chin. Euviderm’s lip action is up to 24 weeks. For all other skin areas, the average duration is 36 weeks. The duration of the filler effect depends on the skin type and the individual characteristics of the patient.

Which filler to choose?

The Juvederm range consists of a wide range of different density products. Each type of filler has its special action, composition, viscosity, density, prolonged and designed for a separate area of the face.

  1. To increase the area of the lips, correct their contours and give attractiveness and juiciness use Juvederm 30, Juvederm 24, Juvederm Ultra 4, Juvederm Ultra Smile (with lidocaine).
  2. To fill different types of wrinkles, smooth skin relief, improve elasticity and emptiness of the dermis using “Juvederm 18”, “Juvederm Volbella”, “Juvederm Volift”, “Juvederm Ultra 3” (with lidocaine).
  3. Juvederm Voluma and Juvederm Ultra 3 (with lidocaine) are used to correct facial asymmetry and give a clearer outline.
  4. Juvederm Hydrate is used to keep the patient’s skin moisturized, with a beautiful and natural complexion, and to relieve skin laxity.

Before going through the procedure, you need to make sure that your doctor is qualified to correctly select the Juvederm filler. If one drug eliminates wrinkles and moisturizes the skin, when applied as a lip filler, it will give an unnatural and ugly result. And a bulking product cannot be used to improve skin condition, as it will form acne-prone tubercles and take time.

How is the gel injected and is this procedure painful?

To easily introduce the product, the doctor uses a special hyaluronic pen that minimizes pain. Also, the product contains lidocaine, so the patient feels comfortable during the procedure, and the specialist qualitatively injects the filler under the skin. After administration of Euwiderm, it is necessary to easily massage the area of introduction to ensure a uniform distribution of the filler and reduce swelling after the procedure. After completion of the procedure, you should consult your doctor regarding precautionary measures and skincare after injection. Within a few hours of administration, you will need to reduce your facial muscle tension and avoid direct sunlight. You should avoid extreme temperature changes for 14 days and do not go to the gym, solarium, bath or pool. It is also forbidden to massage the injection area on its own, as this may impair the integrity of the gel. It is necessary to give up chemical peels and laser treatments within 21 days before and after the procedure. Cosmetics can be used the day after the procedure, but experts advise to refrain from cosmetics for 72 hours. Within 24-48 hours after injection, slight redness, swelling or tenderness of the skin may occur. So the skin responds to damage to its integrity and these symptoms must pass quickly. In rare cases, nodal seals may occur at the injection site, so if you are concerned about severe pain and fever, you should consult your doctor.
